Velocity Server - DataPoint Merger

On December 8, 2006 Velocity Server improved its position within the Baltimore technology marketplace by becoming a part of the DataPoint family. This merger increased the size of the network and support staff to the benefit of all Velocity Server customers.

DataPoint is a Baltimore-based ISP and data center company serving commercial customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. DataPoint is owned by a large private company called Continental Broadband, which encompasses a family of commercial Internet data providers in many major markets throughout the country.

The DataPoint data center is located in Baltimore City just minutes from the Velocity Server data center.
